Welcome!

Updated: Jul 29, 2018

Hey there! Welcome to my website! I am thrilled you decided to check it out, and I’m so excited to have this opportunity to share a huge part of who I am with you. I have had an amazing support network of countless people and my hope, through this platform, is to channel that support into encouragement that might help many more.

I am a born and raised Arkansan who will fit most of your Arkansas stereotypes: I'm a small town girl with a southern accent, "y’all" is vital to my vocabulary, and I'm a lover of momma's sweet tea! BUT, there is so much more to me! I believe there is true value in knowing someone and being known by someone in this life.

I graduated high school in 2011, graduated college with a Bachelors in Human Services in 2015, and will graduate with a Masters in Counseling in 2018. I married my best friend on June 2, 2017, and I've discovered that being a wife and dog mom is more satisfying that I could have ever imagined. I wear many hats (as you will learn through this site), have many roles, and have even more influences, but there aren't enough words to describe the gratitude I have for all of it molding me into the woman I am today. Every day is a process of that molding and I pray I’m living it to the best of my potential.

My goal is to be transparent with you through these adventures and hope that you see my passion as I share my heart. My prayer is that this site will give the you insight into the many ways God is working in me and through me. With a whole lot of Jesus fueling me, here I am- flawed and so undeserving of His grace, but praise be to Him that His mercies are new every morning! A wise mentor once told me that some of the strongest words a person can hear is “me too.” So friend, me too. You have a painful past? Me too. You’ve made mistakes? Me too. You’re going through a really tough season? Me too. But my hope is to inspire you to seek Him above all else, and that it is okay to Break the Silence.

May we be intentional and see that God hasn’t called us to comfort, He’s called us to commitment! I’m scared, y’all, but committed to what He has called me to do! I pray you do the same. I love hearing from others, so please share your stories with me! I’d love to hear about who all is tuning in to www.breakthesilencevtv.com!
